If you've read my articles on Examiner.com (thank you very much for doing so), you may have noticed that so far, I have not reviewed one Nintendo game. All you've seen is PC, some Xbox 360, and one PS4 (more to come...hopefully) games thus far. So why haven't I reviewed any Nintendo games? The answer to that question is actually very simple: I have no interest. Why? I felt like Nintendo hasn't been doing a good job of listening to its consumers, and their reputation thus far hasn't done themselves any good. To add more fuel to the fire, their games aren't as interesting to even consider purchasing. I haven't bought a game for Nintendo's consoles in almost 2 years. And it's a real shame because I grew up playing the old Nintendo Entertainment System. When I got my Wii in 2007 (during the Wii hype), I thought Nintendo would be on top of the world. When I got my Xbox 360 that same year, I knew then that Xbox 360 was far better. Xbox Live isn't perfect, but it is better than Nintendo's. Will I have a change of heart and review a Nintendo game? Well, if Nintendo would shift their attention to what the people want instead of what they want, then I would be reviewing their games left and right. Until then, you won't be seeing any Nintendo reviews anytime soon.
