I found out that former heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali passed away the day after my birthday (which is June 2nd). I never really got a chance to see Muhammad Ali on TV, but thanks to YouTube, I was able to see Thrilla in Manilla (Ali and Frazier's third encounter) and Rumble in the Jungle (Ali and Foreman). Those two matches alone are worth watching (that's not to say his other fights aren't, but these two are usually the fights that most people think about when it comes to Muhammad Ali). One other thing I already knew was that he had Parkinson's disease, but what I didn't know was that he had it for 32 years! That's three years after his retirement from boxing (he retired in 1981). Despite his controversial history, Muhammad Ali remains one of (if not), the greatest heavyweight boxing champion of all time, no matter what anyone says. Rest in Peace, Mr. Ali. You were one of the greats in the world of boxing.
