Kenneth; my full birth name. Kenneth comes from the Gaelic words Cainnech and Cinaed. The more modern term for Cainnech is Coinneach; translated means handsome or comely. Cinaed comes from the Celtic word aidhu; meaning fire. (Source: Wiki) Kenjamin; a portmanteau of Ken and Benjamin. This word was coined by a old co-worker of mine about 7 years back. I didn't like the name at first because I thought it was stupid. As time went on, I started to like the name a little bit more. A few of my friends have already called me Kenjamin, and to be honest, I'd rather have that for my full name instead of Kenneth. To be honest, I think Kenjamin has a better ring to it, don't you think. I mean, who goes around with a name like Benneth anyways? God help us all if that name exists. If I ran into someone and their name was Benneth, I'd have to question if I really want to know them or not. I think Kenjamin should be another form of Ken because it does rhyme with Benjamin, and Benny and Ben are legit names to begin with. If it were to happen, I'd be the first Kenjamin on the planet. Who knows? Maybe the name would sky rocket to the top of popular masculine first names. Hey, I can dream, can't I? What do you think? Should Kenjamin be included in the list of masculine names?
