Subway is one of my favorite places to pick up a sandwich. They have a lot to offer, you get to pick what you want, and the convenience of location (there's 3 where I live) makes it all the better. I had one of their flatizzas (portmanteau of flat bred and pizza), but how did it hold up? Was it one of Subway's best to offer? That answer, loyal reader, is no. But are there any redeeming qualities to this? Yes there are; and one is in the price. For $3.00, you can't go wrong with a Flatizza. Another redeeming quality is that this is an original idea. Flatizza, marinara, mozzarella cheese, and your choice of topping (if you want) and you get something new. And now we get to the bad parts. You're really not tasting a pizza, but rather a sandwich that isn't a sandwich. Another negative is that it isn't very tasty, as it's only crunchy on the crust, but that's it. The rest is like eating a soggy sandwich that got wet. Overall, the Flatizza isn't one of Subway's best choices. Despite the cheap price, you're also getting cheap taste. If you want a good pizza, go get a personal pizza they offer (if they offer it). Even though it's $2 more, you're getting more bang for your buck. Or better yet, stay tuned for my next pizza review, and believe me, it's worth it! On a scale of 1 to 5, I'd give this a 1.5 out of 5.
