Hey guys, what's up? Nothing much here, just the same old thing.
I've been thinking for quite a while on what else I can do with my YouTube channel to add more variety, and I've come up with a few ideas.
This is something I've wanted to do for quite a while, but wasn't sure where to begin, and that would be a top 5 series. What this basically means I take something and mark my favorite 5 things (my top 5 favorite vegetables, gatorade flavors, etc.) about each and why it made the list.
Another series I want to do is 'What am I talking about?!'. This concept revolves around something I grew up with and shed some light on those who have nostalgic memories, never seen it before or curious. This is also something I wanted to do, but also wasn't sure where to begin.
These are just two things I really want to do, and plan on starting on at least one shortly after the new year.
That's pretty much it for now. I'll keep you guys posted if anything else comes up.
Hey guys, what's up? Not much on my end, just the same old stuff.
Good news is I guess going back to school to refine my Pharmacy Tech skills isn't the worst thing in the world. Bad news is that this is also getting in the way with my videos.
I recently reapplied for my license and got my 20 hours of continuing education. For only $85, I guess that's not bad. It could be worse. I could spend $85 and get nothing.
No matter what happens, I'll try not to let my schooling get in the way of making videos. This is something I want to do as a career, even if it means being self employed (by the way, the job searches aren't going well).
That's pretty much it on my end. I'll let you guys know what happens (if anything exciting happens).
Hey guys, what's up? Not too much here. Just the same old same old.
I can safely say that I am "enjoying" my time in school. I put that in quotes because at the very least I'm keeping myself busy. I would like to be employed (I know I sound like a broken record), but at the very least I'm doing something.
You may have also noticed that my video making has slowed down because I'm in school and I want to focus more on my studies. I really want to get back into the swing of things, but my studies has kept me from doing so. I really do miss the work force and earning a paycheck.
But like I said, I won't stop looking for a full (or part time) job. Whichever happens first, I finish school or get a job, I welcome it.
That's all for now. I'll keep you up to date if anything happens.
Hey guys, how's it going?
This is just a quick update from me. Turns out that I've started school. While I can't say it's the worst, I also can't say it's for the better. Yesterday I felt really depressed because the job search is going from bad to worse.
I don't know if it's because of my employment records, but I find it hard to believe that someone like me, who wants to go back to work, is getting the short end of the stick, while other people, who got fired at least 5 or more times or even banned from a previous employer, end up back on the work force.
If that wasn't enough, I've seen people with poor credentials apply for the same job I want, but they end up getting it. How does that work? I may sound pessimistic, but that's how I feel.
I did mention a while back that our society is going down the tubes, but I find it ridiculous that someone like me is doing whatever I can and I get nothing in return, while there are other people who sit around all day and get stuff handed to them on a silver platter.
The only good I can think of is that my schedule is pretty light, so that's not too bad. I'll never give up looking for a full time job, and if need be, a part time job. I will also continue making videos and stream live gameplay.
That's all for now. I hope you guys are enjoying your lives.
Hey guys, what's up?
I'm doing okay for the most part. Had student orientation today and got setup for another year of school. Joy. Like I previously wrote, I really don't care for being a pharmacy technician. I'm only doing this because the jobs I'm applying for aren't doing their part, or they're rejecting me for some stupid reason.
I may sound pessimistic, but it's the truth and this is how I feel. If there is any good to come out of this, it's cheap and I have a light schedule. Even more so, I won't let this deter me from finding a full time job.
Desperate? Maybe. Crazy? Also maybe. But I won't give up until I find a full time job. I miss working so much. If people watched my YouTube videos and Twitch streams more often and started paying me, then I wouldn't be in this mess.
If I really wanted to go back to school for anything, it would be for acting or performance. I would also go to a comedy school. Any of the above will do. I do know for a fact that this is something I can see myself doing for the rest of my life.
That's all for now. If anything comes up, I'll let you know.
Hey guys, what's up? Not too much on my end. I'm getting the hang of Twitch and I've learned a few new tricks which will help me.
I'm still on the job hunt unfortunately. It's rather disappointing that I want to work, but I'm getting the brunt end of things. There are people who are twice as lazy and they get what they want. Is this how society works nowadays? Ugh...
Anyways, I also found I may be heading back to school to get a diploma for pharmacy technology.
I may have ranted about this before, but being a pharmacy technician isn't something I want to be for the rest of my life. I really don't care for it, which is why I hope I can land a job before it happens.
If I were to go back to school, it'd be for graphic design or comedy. Those skills would help because I have a Bachelor of Arts and I also like to entertain people. Putting the two together makes sense because I'd be killing two birds with one stone.
Hey guys, what's up? Not much on my part. Just another day in paradise. After being on Twitch for almost two weeks, it's safe to say that I like their services.
I find it rather settling that there is a larger following of streamers there than on YouTube. Just like anything, it is a slow start. Every time someone hits the follow button, it does mean a lot to me and I appreciate the support. I do have a goal in mind and that is to get 50 followers by year's end.
I say this because I do want to do a partnership. It would be nice to stream games, promote products and all that other stuff and get paid to do it. It say seem like I have 'champagne dreams with beer money', but this is one dream I want to pursue. I like streaming games and entertain the watchers.
I do have the support of one of my Steam friends, and she's been helping me quite a bit. I have had thought of doing Twitter, but for some strange reason, I just don't find a long term reason to use it. Would it help? Sure. There's only one snag that's stopping me from Twitter, and that's I'm too shy of a person to use it.
I'm also unsure if I can get a large following by year's end. If I can't I may not have much of a choice but to shut down my Twitch account. So guys, watch my streams and hit that pretty follow button! Friend requests also accepted!
That's it for now. If any new stuff happens to me, I'll let you guys know about it.
Hey guys, how's it going? I'm on Twitch now! I look forward to streaming on Twitch. I can't wait! My channel is unbiasedstudios, somewhat like my YouTube channel.
But there are a few rules to keep in mind
That's pretty much it. Be sure to tune in on Saturdays (or whenever possible)!
Hey guys, how's it going? I'm doing pretty good. This post is to just let you guys know that I may start doing live streams on Twitch from now on. It seems the YouTube streams are pretty much dead, and don't have a large community to begin with. I'm hoping that Twitch will do better. If I go that route, I'll let you guys know.
Remember, it's better to tell the truth about being stupid than lie about being smart.
Hey guys, how's it going? I'm doing pretty good on my part. Still on the job hunt, though. I have been making videos between job searches, and it's going pretty good. I just turned 34 a week and a half ago.
I've also come to the realization that I maybe going back to school to get an associate's in pharmacy technician stuff (what a surprise). Some may see nothing wrong with it, but to tell you guys the truth, I hated being a pharmacy technician. I only got my certification because I needed to get out of Walmart. Boy, talk about wasting $130 and two months of my life.
To be even more honest, I'd rather take any other job than pharmacy technician. I'm still not having any luck with finding videography, but that's not stopping me from making videos on the side.
That's pretty much it. I don't have anything new to blog about. I hope you guys are enjoying your lives to your fullest. Hopefully someday I'll find a job and get back to the work force.
