It's been almost two weeks since my last post, but I do bring some good news! Let me correct myself first; it's actually bad news. The bad news is I'm still stuck at Walmart, and that's pretty much it (bet you guys saw that coming). But there truly is some good news (well, actually, two pieces of good news). The first is that I had an interview for a Pharmacy Tech position at Walmart. Adding more to it (provided I get the spot), I will be getting some experience working in a pharmacy. To clarify, what this means is that I'll be getting retail pharmacy experience. What I want, however, is hospital (or health care facility) pharmacy tech experience. What that also means is that the license I'm testing for in one week is state certification. This has a greater weight carry than a retail license. And now, for the last piece of good news, I'll be getting back into making videos next week. What will the video be? Once again, not telling. See you guys soon!
Hey guys, what's up? It's just another day at the office for me. The time is getting closer and closer for my ExCPT. So far, the study sessions are going very well. I've even been practicing the questions for the exam. Whether they'll appear on the exam is uncertain. This isn't necessarily me remembering the questions for the test, but rather get comfortable for the setup (it's multiple choice). If there's one thing I've learned thus far from my study sessions, it's use color pencils while taking notes. What I mean is find the key component to a sentence and color it (example, I've been coloring in the correct answers in red). What this will do is keep the answer separate from the sentence, and you're more likely to remember it come test time. That's pretty much it from my end. My main goal (provided that I pass my exam) is to be done with Walmart by December and start my new job that month also. Wish me luck, guys. Oh, one more thing; the videos will resume after November 7th.
